Life Starts at the Edge of Your Comfort Zone

   Today the video that I watched was about what lies beyond your comfort zone. Whether its bungee jumping, starting a new chapter of life or just talking to a new person, it's never as scary as it looks.    Well, come January 14th I am going to New York City to do a week-long intensive make up course at Makeup Forever Academy. I would say that's pretty far outside of my comfort zone. However in the last few days I have been thinking ofnothing else but all the opportunities God will bring my way because of it and I know that NYC is just the tip of the iceberge!    For months God has been assuring me that He has amazing things in store for me an I have always trusted Him, but New York City?! I never could have imagined that would be my Christmas present from my dad!   I am so ready and so excited to see what God has planned for my life and I just want to do everything that I can to make it easier for Him to get me wher ever he wants me to go. 

Never Avoid Obstacles

   Every morning I wake up at 6:30am and read my daily devotion book, my Bible and I watch a motivational video about success on YouTube. Today my video was called 'Turn your Struggles into Strengths' and it was definitely worth watching.  It talked about how in life we often look at the obstacles that come our way as something to avoid, but they are always the things that push us into achieving what we need to and are meant to achieve.    The woman that spoke about this used the analogy of lifting weights and using resistance to grow stronger. She has spent her life wanting to be on the cover of a fitness magazine to inspire women all over the country the way that she was inspired, but when she was rejected by all the magazines she applied for every year she almost gave up.
